Speaker Bio

I'm Mattan, Co-Founder & CEO of Y Combinator-backed One Month, the "For Dummies" of online education. I created One Month Rails, the #1 bestselling Ruby on Rails online training course for teaching beginners how to build web applications. I'm also the NYC Ambassador to the Sandbox Network, a collection of young leaders under 30.

I teach and advise on growth hacking, learning to code, and online education. I've advised companies like Pepsico, Bloomberg, GM, NYSE, and JPMorgan, spoken at New York University, Cooper Union, Singularity University, The Downtown Project, First Round Capital and Social Media Week, and have been featured in Forbes, BusinessWeek, MIT Technology Review, Huffington Post, Mashable and The Next Web.

There are a lot of things you could be doing (or at least testing) that you probably aren't. Instead of talking about a lot of theory, Mattan is going to cover a bunch of ideas for what you should be doing and why. We'll also cover some interesting case studies from companies to see what worked and what didn't.
